London’s Story mfg. is truly a revelation in garms in the age of fast fashion and awful bullshit draped upon the average person. Their Positive Product Manifesto dives deep into the overall approach of husband and wife team Katy and Saeed Al-Rubeyi. The most important passage that describes their ethos is, “We believe fashion can be a form of social activism and that STORY mfg. can help create a more positive future.” Hell Yeah. The garms emphasize hand-made, hand-dyed, natural, sustainable, local craftsmanship, and long-lasting Shit. Their signature bucket, the Brew Hat, perfectly encapsulates all of this in their signature Splashy patterning and Flair. The organic cotton jawn is crocheted by hand and colored with an assortment of natural dyes (all listed on the product page), ending up with a Statement piece in both how it looks and what it represents. If you’re really ‘bout it, cop one for the youngin’ as well. Each One Teach One!

Thermal Lined Zip Up Flannel Shirt by Supreme
Everyone looks for the box logo tees and hoodies, and in the past it was all about the camp caps, but Supreme’s best stuff has always been their cut-and-sew garms. Their shirting is a long underrated aspect of the offering, each season coming correct in a new assortment of outstanding oxfords, flannels, work, and other great shirt styles. Fall/Winter means beefier stuff like this lined flannel jawn. Part shirt, part jacket, it’s got a quilted thermal lining filled for warmth to go with the burly flannel outer. This one’s set off with one of our personal favorite Supreme logos, a star logo no doubt inspired partially by the legendary Menace Skateboards that shared both team riders and general attitude with Supreme stretching back to the 90s. We’re feeling the subtly pink colorway for its toned down splashiness, a great layer over or under something black to bring the sauce. Our locker has been really toning down over the past few years, but we’re remembering the importance of colorful garms in both Dressing and Mood. Noah Johnson espoused the importance of Colorful New Clothes years ago on the Corporate Lunch podcast, and we’re riding that same wave now!

Heavy Duty Duck Canvas Carpenter Pant by Snack Skateboards
Snack Skateboards has been quietly dropping some of the best garms in the game for years now. We’ve run through countless Snack garms, huge fans of their excellent soccer jerseys and unique polos. As with any Outfitter worthy of mention in TWR, their pants program is a cornerstone of their seasonal offerings. We remember where we were when we first set eyes on the Unlock Cargo Pant (browsing Instagram), and we counted down the days until they released and we could cop. Our love affair has held strong and we feel similar excitement every time they announce new bottoms, knowing they’re coming correct with great detailing and hard-wearing textiles ready for the streets. The new carpenters are excellent in every way, utilizing hard-as-fuck duck canvas with double knee construction and all the hallmarks of a good carpenter pant (hammer loop and utility pockets and Shit). What really caught our eye was the beautiful military green colorway that’s Set The Fuck Off with a rain camo print. We’re still mourning the loss of our favorite rain camo Alltimers vest (and Alltimers themselves), one of many fallen garms forgotten at a skate spot, so these jawns came along at the perfect moment. The homies at Village Psychic caught up with the brains behind the Snack and plenty of other Shit, Adam ‘Bonesaw’ Egre, earlier this year for a great conversation on the ins-and-outs of design and sampling and his journey through the apparel space. WHERE’S EDDINGTON?
It’s awards season and all eyes are on Leonardo DiCaprio and One Battle After Another. Fun flick, sure. Batshit crazy, no doubt. But are we missing something? Eddington was an incredible film, potentially the definitive takedown of the surreal summer of 2020 and a blistering look at the intersection of politics, Big Tech, small town America, and social media in this decade. Joaquin Phoenix was in rare form as a New Mexico sheriff driven mad by COVID conspiracy. For our money it was the best film of 2025. Maybe it was too soon and people weren’t ready to re-hash those dark days. Perhaps it went over some heads. In any case, watch it if you haven’t.
FATSO BOOTLICKERS TERRORIZE AND ENTERTAIN THE COUNTRY
We’re not a body shaming blog, but it’s too damn easy to skewer the gestapo doughboys slipping around Minneapolis like cartoon buffoons. Social media is rife with clips of these bootcamp rejects falling on their asses, being outsmarted like a Looney Tune bad guy, and milling around wondering when they get their next snack break. None of this is surprising, as the rush to recruit Shitheads willing to terrorize their neighbors unsurprisingly resulted in an army full of generational Losers with no real qualifications or alternative forms of employment. Fuck ICE, CBP, and DHS.

Great roundup especially the Snack carpenter pants with that rain camo. The relationship between skate brands and proper garment construction is underexplored dunno why folks think skating in cheaply made stuff would work. I still think about thier Unlock Cargo all the time since you first mentioned it. That whole section about Bobby deKeyzer and BOBCBC is spot-on too, wild that film didnt get more recognition.
