The Supreme Art of Dressing is to Subdue the Enemy Without Fighting
Do you want to take a life? / Do you want to cross that line? / ‘Cause it's a long way back from Hell / And you don't want to go with me
This week we crisscross the globe to bring you rain gear from Down Under, a cozy hoodie from SFC, and London’s most popular trainers. The Soldier of the Week should be SOTY, and we’re too thankful for him (and You, Soldiers!) to have an Enemy in the crosshairs in this edition of TWR!
💥TUESDAY MEANS WAR💥
TACTICAL UPDATES
OUTERWEAR
Workers Rain Jacket by Pass~Port

The rainy season has really not even started in earnest, so here’s another recommendation if you still haven’t copped the right jawn to keep yourself dry and get your ass outside without excuses. And for the Real Soldiers, add another banging jacket to your arsenal (no Henry), because one can never have enough options, especially when it comes to slapping outerwear for layerin’ the fuck up! The Aussies at Pass~Port have a criminally underrated garm program, typical of skateboard manufacturers who are usually known for slapping graphics on tees and hats to help push their hardgoods. P~P’s cut-and-sew is Elite, just like their team of ripping skaters from across the globe (have you seen Eetu’s new part?). The pants fit just right, they offer an extensive selection of button-ups and polos, and they have an entire section of their site dedicated to their material sourcing and focus on sustainability. Hell yeah! The Workers Rain Jacket comes in a relatively muted orange this season, set off with 3M piping and chest logo for visibility in the Shitty conditions. A bonded inner membrane gives the nylon jacket its water resistance, and synch tabs on the hood and waist ensure impenetrability in the harshest elements. All this function and steez is available for less than $200, an absolutely cracking deal in This Economy! Why not scoop the navy version as well? Real Soldiers always keep a deep bench of Real Bangers!
UPPER UNIFORM
Goon Hoodie by Thrasher

It’s easy to overlook Thrasher’s apparel program as just some merch or The Official Gear of SOTY Gunners, but we should be holding Thrasher’s goods in the same high esteem as we hold our beloved local shop garms: Important and Sacred. Especially considering the fact that, like it or not, Thrasher is the final frontier for mass distribution in skateboarding and we’d lose it all if we lost Thrasher. The Goon hoodie (and tee) features a very fly homie, accessorized with gold tooth and pinky ring, catching up on The Mag. The graphic comes from Nile Gibbs, a former Seattle ripper steadily making his name down in The Bay as a switchstance powerhouse and extraordinary artist. Much like your local shop, Thrasher makes an effort to put on up-and-coming artists (as well as established talents) that keeps their graphics fresh and provides a platform for those deserving of more shine. Cop a couple hoodies for the cozy season, give out a few subscriptions as holiday gifts, and give back to the ones keeping you laced with endless content all year long!
FOOTWEAR
Air Max Plus by Nike

We’ve had a hard time running anything but these lately. School drop off, park visits, errand runs, you name it. 95s are getting all the shine with their 30th anniversary this year, but the Plus is right there for the Free Thinkers among us. The Plus introduced Tuned Air technology and created a culture of TN reppers crossing all walks of life, from performance runners to graffiti writers and anyone else that was struck by its combination of eye-popping design and unsurpassed technical function. It’s truly one of the most comfortable in the Air Max line, and the silhouette lends itself to endless creativity thanks to TPU overlays on the mesh upper and eyelets synonymous with the Air Max 95. A bunch of bangers are on sale right now, so there’s no excuse not to finally make your dreams come true and dress like a Real Roadman this festive season. Now that Palace and Nike have officially joined forces, is it too much to ask to see some TNs in the future? We know Supreme already did it, but it doesn’t get much more LDN than TNs.
FIELD NOTES
SOLDIER OF THE WEEK
Antonio Durao

Hating is important. In fact, hating is more important than loving. Hating is critical to maintaining order and balance in any community. Our current world reached the unspeakable levels of Wack we’re currently experiencing because of Woke Culture that treated Hating as a form of Bullying instead of an important way of Educating. Lack of Hating gave rise to The Biggest Loser in the History of Humanity becoming the richest and one of the most powerful people of all time. That said, you’re a Total Fucking Idiot if you’re hating on Antonio Durao. He just dropped a new Hardbody part that reminded the world that he’s the Coolest Motherfucker on the Planet. For every galaxy-brain one-foot he gives us, he grinds a ledge as tall as his shoulders. He’s capable of just about any trick on a skateboard, regular or switch, and he doesn’t actually care if you or anyone else knows it. Kevin Tierney had to tell the man he wasn’t gonna film him on an iPhone anymore because he wasn’t thinking about The Business of filming and parts and Playing The Game. Nobody does it for the love better than Antonio, driving that sick-ass Bimmer across the country to throw a crazy one down Wallenberg. Nobody makes Jordans look cooler on a skateboard, but we respect the OGs Josh Velez and Philly Santosuosso that paved the way for this greatness. We can only hope he has one more in the hopper for SOTY season, because nobody’s been making more waves this year and unfortunately we all know what’s needed to Prove it to the masses.
ENEMY OF THE WEEK
Nobody! We’re keeping it thankful this week, focusing on the positive and The Good Soldiers out there during this time of togetherness. BUT! Tune in on Black Friday for a very special edition…
You’re now up to speed on the latest from the battlefield. Use this intel wisely and pass it on to others who may need our guidance. We can’t win the war unless we’re in it together.
