š„SOLDIERS of the WEEKš„
The Realest of the Real
This year weāre taking a more comprehensive look at the Soldiers that are Really Stunting each week, highlighting a bunch of Real Ones rather than singling anyone out. To be honest, thereās too much good stuff happening every week to only pick one! Salute to all the commandos putting in work with Fits, Vibrations, Vulnerability, Authenticity, and Outspokenness š«”
SOLDIERS of the WEEK
Ethan Scott

We met Ethan at Adjacent PDX last summer and were immediately Stunned by the Sauce. Heās steady ripping all over Portland, shutting down streets, parks, and DIYs in some of the sharpest garms in a town known for Elite Dressing. We especially appreciate the Fit Clips, showing off the wares of his sponsor CCS being used as intended. Keep an eye on Ethanās rise on Instagram, and donāt sleep the rest of the ripping and fitted Yew Skateboards team.
Devin Booker

Book came into 2026 on a Fucking mission, dropping 20 points in the first quarter en route to 33 for the game and sitting out the 4th in a blowout of the Sacramento Kings. It was also the drop date for his second Nike signature sneaker, the Book Chapter 2. And he pulled up in signature Book steez, the sharpest MotherFucker in the Tunnel by far. In the second game of 2026, he ran a better version of this SGA brick and hit the game winner in OKC. He followed that up by dropping an all brown getup and 27 on the Rockets, only to be spoiled by that Salty Bitch KD. Book has arrived.
Calum McFarlane
Nobody knew who this guy was until Enzo Maresca dipped from Chelsea and he was launched into the hot seat once held by the legendary likes of Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelloti, and Guus Hiddink. Calumās first task was away to second place Manchester City, and the first 45 minutes looked every bit the work of a side with a coach in over his head against one of the greatest managers in football history. A few keen substitutions and tireless effort from the indispensable Reece James and equalizer Enzo Fernandez saw Calum McFarlane take Chelseaās first point off Pep in nearly 2 years, back to the heyday of Mauricio Pochettino. And he did it all in the club-issued tracksuit and puffer.
Alex Harr

Skateboardingās best contest format, Seattleās All City Showdown, kicked off the year with 13 crews tearing up Rain City chasing down $10K in prize money. Team Saga, led by filmer Kevin Stake, took the crown for the second year in a row. Ryan Kartes, Noah Holmes, and Simon Wilke all put it Down for the scene and ripped Heavy, but we have to give a special nod to Style Ruler and All Around Soldier Alex Harr for coming through with his signature classic fits (DJ Screw tee!) and Bigger Than Life tricks that have to be seen first hand to be properly appreciated. Shout out to Alex and the Saga crew, Taylor Ballard for shooting some of the best photos in the business, 35th North for keeping the motherfucking vibe alive, and much love to all the homies back home!
Zohran Mamdani
Big Zo took office in the usual uniform of nondescriptness that lets That Smile and The Work take the shine. But he had to have a lil something for such a massive occasion, and it turns out that eye-catching neckwear is the work of Indian designer Kartik Kumra. His stylist for the occasion dropped the intel on her Substack: Zohran ran a handwoven silk tie featuring a jacquard motif from Assam in Northeast India. Kartik Research is certainly a label to watch.
Leo Messi
Thereās no doubt that Lionel Messi is the greatest footballer of all time, having dominated Spain, France, all of Europe, and now the US of A with goals and assists and bits of magic the world may never see again. Recently we got a little peek into the brain of the little genius, and like all other brainiacs in human history, heās just a little bit off! As Messi said, āThe thing I like least about myself is that when I get into a certain state, I shut myself off, and itās hard for me to get out of it. Any triviality, sometimes even something simple, changes my mood, so I go into a state of withdrawal and itās hard for me to get out of it.ā Now, draw your own conclusions about what might be driving this, but we can say from personal experience that a touch of ~neurodivergence~ contributes to us experiencing much of the same thing he struggles with. He continued, āIt depends on my mood, but very small things, tiny details, can really affect me. If someone moves something from where I left it or changes what I had planned for the day, it can already put me in a bad mood. Iām very structured. If I have my day organized in a certain way and something happens in the middle that isnāt planned, Iām already annoyed. When Iām like that, I shut down. I donāt communicate it, I process it inside.ā He just like us for real! And if you are too, just take solace knowing youāre not alone, youāre not weird, and therapy and medication and meditation are outstanding tools!
Jacob Elordi

All eyes have been on Lil Timmy during his generational press run for Marty Supreme. Kylieās dude is a likely choice for all the Best Actor awards out there, but weāre more interested in a Soldier thatās a little more subtle. Jacob Elordi is also picking up awards this year for his turn as Frankenstein, and we gotta give it up for the way heās stepping out to accept them. A little bit of lettuce up top is the wave (as weāve already highlighted) and heās running the āstache to match. He sets off the look with a little gold earring, something Yung Chally could absolutely never. His look really makes Timotheeās buzz cut and peach fuzz look positively pre-pubescent. Elordi might be Supporting this year, but he towers above Chalamet in more ways than one!
Youāre now up to speed on the latest from the battlefield. Use this intel wisely and pass it on to others who may need our guidance. We canāt win the war unless weāre in it together.
